The "International Patient Assistance Unit Interpretation and Call
Center" has been established in order to provide easy access to
healthcare services for patients visiting Turkey for purposes of health
tourism or tourists' health.
Services to be offered by the International Patient Assistance Unit Interpretation and Call Center:
•Interpretation (consecutive) from/into Turkish into/from foreign
languages, of telephone calls in foreign languages by international
patients, received by the 112 and 184 call centers , or of telephone
calls in foreign languages referred to the IPAU via teleconferencing
• Answering incoming telephone calls originating abroad, and offering
advisory services or recording suggestions or complaints as needed
The International Patient Assistance Unit Interpretation and Call Center
is to serve in 6 languages comprising German (3 interpreters), Arabic
(10 interpreters), English (7 interpreters), Russian (4 interpreters),
Farsi (2 interpreters), and French (2 interpreters)
