Our unit provides service with the goal of sustaining movement and increasing the quality of life.Thus, our specialist physicians collaborate with the other units in our hospital in examining the musco skeletal system’s congenital and acquired disorders and illnesses in a holistic manner, makes diagnosis utilizing high technology and practices the most appropriate medical and surgical treatment. We have a modern operating theatre equipped specifically for orthopaedic procedures, plus access to a full range of orthopaedic instruments for a wide range of arthroscopic surgery. Our clinic cares for orthopaedic patients requiring short stay through to major joint procedures. This ward is staffed by experienced, qualified nurses who are supported by a multi-disciplinary Allied Health team including physiotherapists, podiatrists and occupational therapists.Our Orthopaedic surgeons perform conventional surgery such as joint replacement. They also specialise in a range of orthopaedic interventions, including sports medicine, injuries and reconstructive surgery.
Our patients are informed thoroughly about their treatment plans and the post operative exercise programme is implemented by our physiotherapists.
Our clinic has 46 beds and offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic facilities. We admitted 63833 outpatient and 2446 inpatients in the last year. Among these patients, were surgical operations that 40 patients major, 1345 big, 567 middle and 4802 minor.
